I have been uaing them for years. The process is very easy, no issues for us. We get good results.

Very simple no cost filing. Interests are aligned in that they only make a fee if they get a property tax reduction. They do what is necessary and consistent with the case. I always sign up but don't expect any results. Last year they reduced my property taxes by 3000 dollars. That new baseline goes on ad infinitum I only paid half of one year or 1500 dollars. I think it is a no brainer to contest. I have seen some complaints on these reviews. First of all, Maidenbaum is a pretty good alternative that I used in Port Washington, they do not service Suffolk County and I found that Heller is at least equivalent. Second, failure may mean that the property is not overtaxed so you can't blame them. Lastly I sold my house in Port Washington in the midst of a successful grievance, contractually I was on the hook for the fee and Maidenbaum expected me to pay as per contract. This is standard. I was lucky in that since the new owner was the one to benefit he agreed to pay the fee but he didn't have to. Most of the poor reviews here suggest an ignorance of the way this type of deal works. Lastly one reviewer was aghast at late fees. To this I would say perhaps pay your bills on time. I am a business owner who also receives reviews and it makes my irate when I get bad reviews simply due to ignorance of the client and unrealistic expecations. Which is why I am trying to set the record straight for this good company.

I was very happy and satisfied with the results of my tax grievance. Not only were my taxes reduced, but whenever I reached out to ask questions or requests for help, the response was immediate and always pleasant. The whole process was very easy.
